4.0 out of 5 stars Great read!

I enjoyed reading The Cannabis Preacher: Sermon One. It was an easy book to read and had me interested from the first page. The author had very interesting character development and an intriguing story line.
Very detailed information that made me think about how much work goes into developing a new business, just the same as it took the author to write this book. A great read.

Intriguing!

The subject matter and title intrigued me having been around some of these sorts of dealings. From the beginning of this book had my attention; I picked it up to “just have a look” and suddenly found myself eight chapters into it. As the main characters were introduced, I started to feel that I had met all of these people before.
Read on as Connor, the main protagonist, battles his demons up and down the shady side of Wall Street. There are just so many moving parts for any one control freak to manage. The greatest deal of all time starts to get out of control but every time he seems about to fall, he finds a way to land on his feet.
We keep guessing:
• Is he our hero or his own worst enemy?
• Is this a runaway train or a slow-motion train wreck?
• Will he end up in Financial Heaven, Regulatory Hell, or just a Fool’s Paradise?
Read to the end of this fun little tale and wait for the movie to come out.

I enjoyed reading this immensely. Starts with high-level business but ends up in some unexpected dark places. Intriguing and exciting. I can't wait to read Sermon 2.

Couldn't put it down!

"I received a great new book in the mail last week and I just have to share this with you! The book is called Guitars & Cadillacs (from the SoundMaster Romance Series), written by Sabine Keevil. I read the first couple of pages, fully intending to put the book down and review it when I had more time. The book was so good, I couldn't put it
down! Needless to say, I read the whole book that day ( I'm a fast reader) and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, which will be released in the spring. Guitars and Cadillacs is about a Country superstar and a radio announcer who meet on the worst of terms and chronicles how building a relationship with a public icon isn't the easiest thing to do, especially when the parties concerned have skeletons in their closet. If you'd like to own a copy of this book (which I highly recommend) please go to http://www.thinkingdogpublishing.com/." -Marti Clayton ThatsCountry.com

Perfect Fantasy

"Sabine Keevil has constructed the perfect fantasy romance in her novel Guitars & Cadillacs, the latest in the Soundmaster Romance Series. The romance between country super-hunk Colton "Mr. Right" Wright and radio personality Reanne Parker is right out of a storybook,
complete with passionate fighting and equally passionate reconciliation.
At the same time, she appeals to that part of us that longs to see the behind-the-scenes footage of celebrity lives."

Great Story

"Ms. Keevil is a good storyteller. I'll say that right out. She has a good grasp of storyline, she's succinct and to the point, her characters are engaging, and she knows where she's taking them... The story is of Colton Wright, country music superstar (ala Garth Brooks, an on-stage maniac in an oversized cowboy hat), and Reanne Parker, Nashville morning DJ." Laurie Joulie

Title

Author Sabine Keevil proves that she is a woman who knows how to bring fantasies to life with simple words printed on a page. Combining her natural ability to tell a good story with a touch of mystery, suspense, and romance, her latest book release, Long Way Home, becomes a novel that is hard to put down.
The twists and turns are many, but the end result is a deep and abiding love found when least expected.
Readers are certain to enjoy the "ultimate fantasy," as she has labeled it, of being swept away into a world where dreams really do come true. If you're looking to escape into a world of romance the downhome southern way, Sabine Keevil is the author to take you away.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great read!

First off, absolutely love Pixie! But then, you can't go wrong with a dog in the story. Lots of odds and ends in this storyline and it all works out in the end, blends beautifully. Sarah moves to town with her kids, gets a new home, a new pet, deals with a jerk ex-husband, and so much more! I really enjoyed this story, laughed, cried, worried, just about all the emotions possible. Can't wait to read more in this series (hopefully!).

5.0 out of 5 The start of a great series

A fun and captivating story. A little humor, a little budding romance, a ghost… and Pixie! What's not to love when one of the central characters is a magical papillon dog?
It's just what a cozy mystery should be.

Fun Spooky Story!

This was a fun ghost story, slightly scary, with an absolutely adorable pet dog who has the ability to communicate mentally with her new owner. When Sarah's marriage falls apart, she takes her two children and moves to a new home and town, complete with an adopted Papillon dog named Pixie. But when they find a hidden entry to a boarded off attic, that's when things really start to happen. Has Sarah invested in a haunted house? And what will this mean to her and the kids? I enjoy reading books with a slight paranormal touch, especially when they involve adorable dogs (or cats). I also enjoyed how Sarah learned how to channel her own strength, as she dealt with living alone in a place (maybe slightly haunted) and dealing with everything. I am looking forward to the next story in this new series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Read

There's something about Pixie. She's magical. I've known a few papillions and they are spunky, feisty, little balls of fluff and attitude. Their feathery ears alone give warning that there is something magical about them. But, Pixie IS magical. Adopted from the shelter by new homeowner Sarah Anderson to help her children adjust to their new home and her divorce, Sarah knew it'd be love at first sight. What she didn't expect was the little dog revealing a hidden door and staircase. Nor did she expect the frightening mystery that discovery would release. Why are doors slamming? Why is it thundering outside when the sky is clear everywhere…. well, except for that cloud hovering over her home?

Fun doggie story!!

Oh man, I just dove into this ghostly tale and wow, was it a ride! So,
we've got Sarah, right? Her marriage just hit the skids, and she's off to a fresh start with her kiddos and, get this, a super cute Papillon named Pixie who can chat with her through mind vibes. Talk about a cool pet! They scoot off to this new place, but then stumble upon this secret attic that's been all boarded up, and that's when the spooky vibes really kick in. Is their new pad haunted? What's that going to mean for Sarah and the gang?
