On Sept 13th, 2001 Dwight and the Babylonian Cowboys defied all the nay-sayers and stepped out onto a stage in Rama, Ont., only 2 days after the terrible attacks on New York and Washington. He thanked us for letting them go on and went on to put on an incredible show under the star spangled banner. Following are my photos of a concert that took immense courage to perform.

As a writer one cannot help but be influenced and moved by the talents of other writers and artists. Dwight's music, lyrics and movies have been a huge part of my life as I followed his career almost from the very beginning. Finally, after years of listening, I decided to take the images and emotions his songs evoked and spin them into stories. My books are not a direct adaptation of the songs; I have captured the emotion a song evokes and given it words, telling a story of love found, lost and of human emotion.

The stories comprise a series of romance novels inspired by Dwight's songs. The first 3 are: Guitars & Cadillacs, Long Way Home and This Time. G&C is now out in paperback, LWH will be available early in 2003, with This Time following shortly afterwards. Also scheduled for release are King of Fools, Ain't That Lonely Yet, If There Was a Way, What's Left of Me, Come On Christmas.
